Building material are any type of materials that are used for construction purposes. The choice of materials used is important in order to distinguish the appearance of a particular buildings. This project is design as an introduction to building materials that are commonly used in construction industry. We have choose our favourite architects Andreas Martin Lof together with the architect’s building ASPIK,2015 Private Summer House as a case study. The exercise gives us the opportunity to explore and understand the materials in terms of it characters, properties and impact it give to building designs and its environment.
Throughout this assignment, I have adapted lifelong learning such as I have learned independently in searching information without plagiarism. Next, I have learn digital literacy. As an example, I have learn how to used photoshop to design the information board effectively.
