This project involves understanding the construction detail of a simple building. This project is designed to allow the application of knowledge of construction detail and specification into student's design.
Moreover, this assignment emphasis on proposing detail for certain sections of a building, both structural and architectural detailing. My task is to find and analysis the floor plan and section plan on the construction of a 2-storey or 3- storey residential building. I also need to identify and propose wall, door, window, slab, staircase and roof as the selected elements of the building. The construction method must consists use of either timber, steel, concrete to composite material shown in the section and details of the drawings.
Throughout this assignment, I learn how to select suitable structural element for the architectural design; design and apply a structural element for the architectural design.
